The next pay at the pump could have a fake built-in card payment system. You should also check your surroundings and be extra careful when entering your pin number.

According to US media reports, criminals have launched large-scale attacks on petrol pumps with built-in card payment systems to gain access to card data. There have been similar attacks that involve the attachment of special skimming devices that look like the real equipment to copy card data, but these have only targeted cash points. Attackers often obtain the PIN with a hidden camera or a secondary PIN pad placed over the machine’s original keyboard.

In the current cases, skimming devices attached to petrol pump terminals are said to use Bluetooth to transmit the data to criminals operating near by. The attackers then use the skimmed details to forge cards and withdraw money from cash points. Approximately 180 petrol pumps with pay-at-the-pump functionality from Salt Lake to Provo are said to have been manipulated by the currently unknown perpetrators. Local police at one location say the modification to the pump was unnoticeable. The fraud was only detected when several attack victims could be traced back to having used the same petrol pump at a 7-Eleven station.

How To Accepting Credit Cards on Your Website

Are you thinking of selling things on the web? If so, you will probably also be considering some way in which you can accept credit cards on your site. Since new webmasters who visit thesitewizard.com often ask me about how they can get started accepting payments in this form, this article provides some basic information on adding credit card payment facilities to your website.

Why Do It?

Credit card payments allow you to take advantage of the following types of customers:

Impulse buyers. After reading your advertisements and hype on your site, buyers would be all fired up about your product. If they have a means of making a purchase immediately, you've secured that sale. If you only allow cheque payments, the additional time it takes for them to get their cheque book and mail out the cheque may be a deterrence. They may also have second thoughts later.

International customers. Credit card payment is a tremendous convenience if your customers are overseas. It automatically takes care of the problems of currency differences as well as the time it takes for a cheque to travel to the vendor. You will lose a large number of overseas customers if cheque payment is the only way you can accept payment.

Methods of Accepting Credit Card Payments

There are actually two ways in which you can accept credit cards on your site.

Using Your Own Merchant Account. To do this, you will need a bank that will allow you to open a merchant account. Requirements for this will vary from country to country, and you should check with your local banks for more information on this.

Through a Third Party Merchant. There are numerous companies around that are willing to accept credit cards payments on your behalf in exchange for various fees and percentages. These are also known as "payment gateways".

Which Method Should You Use?

The initial costs of opening your own merchant account is usually higher than when you use a third party merchant. Indeed, some third party merchants have no setup fee at all.

However, the transaction fee (which is what you pay the bank or third party merchant for each sale) is much higher when you use a third party as compared to when using your own merchant account.

A third party merchant is usually convenient to use when you don't know if you can actually make much out of your product or service. If you just want to test the water to see how things are, this is usually a good way to start. It is also convenient in that the merchant takes care of everything for you. You just get a cheque at the end of each payment period (if you have earned enough) and concentrate on your products, services and customers.

Having your own merchant account accords your business with a certain amount of professionalism. And, as mentioned earlier, your transaction costs are usually much lower. However you have to be careful to minimize your credit card risks since you'll be processing the credit card payments yourself. This is not to say that there are no risks attendant in using a third party merchant.

Some Third Party Merchants / Payment Gateways

Here's a list of some third party merchants that you might want to consider if you're looking for ways to accept credit card payments. Except for PayPal, I have not actually tried any of them myself (as a vendor). Check them out carefully and use them at your own risk.

Note that rates and stuff that I publish below were correct at the time I investigated these vendors. It will most likely have changed by the time you read this since the merchants tend to modify their rates from time to time according to market conditions. Make sure that you check the current (up-to-date) details from their site before making any decision.

The list is arranged alphabetically.

Amazon's WebStore: This well known company allows you to create a store front that accepts orders and processes credit card transactions for you. You can associate your domain name with this store, so that you don't even have to create a website: the store, which you can customize, will become your website. The first month is free, and there is a fixed charge of $59.99 per month after that. For a higher monthly fee, $99.98 after your first free month, you can elect to have your goods sold on the main Amazon site, in addition to your own store.

CCBill: There are no setup fees. Transaction fees vary (I can't find the schedule though) depending on the volume of sales in each accounting period. According to their website, "these fees are never more than 13.5% of revenues charged during this one-week period for CWIE hosting clients and 14.5% for non-hosting clients".

CCNow: This is only for people who ship tangible, physical products. There is no setup fee, and they charge 9% per transaction except in the November and December where the fees are 8% per transaction (yes, lower).

Google Checkout: Google has its own payment gateway that is available for US and UK sellers. It is mainly for use if you are selling tangible and digital goods, although you can also use it to charge for services and subscriptions. Charges range from 1.9% + $0.30 USD to 2.9% + $0.30 USD per transaction, depending on the volume of sales in the previous month. If your buyer is not from your country (ie, not in the US if you are in the US, or not in the UK if you are in the UK), there is also another 1% processing fee.

Kagi: Kagi's fees seem to vary according to the order size, type of item sold and the type of payment (credit card, cash, money order) used by your customer.

PayPal: This well-known service allows you to set up a Premier or Business account (you can't receive credit card payments using a Personal account). The charges range between 1.9% + $0.30 USD to 2.9% + $0.30 USD for each transaction if you are in the US. Non-US users are charged different amounts according to the country. From experience, I find this service easy and fast to setup.

ProPay: A new competitor to PayPal (see elsewhere on this page) that currently only caters to US residents. Depending on the type of account you sign up for, you have to pay an annual fee (starting from $34.95) as well as transaction fees of 3.5% + $0.35 USD. However, to accept cards like American Express and Discover, you have to use their more expensive plans.

RegNow: Designed for software authors to sell their ware, this merchant charges a one-time activation fee of $19.95 USD plus a transaction fee of 6.9% plus $1 USD per unit for their commission (minimum $2 USD charge). They also provide you with facilities that allows you to easily set up an affiliate program.

How to Put an Order Form or Shopping Cart on Your Website

Once you have signed up the vendor of your choice, you will be able to put an order form or shopping cart on your site. Each vendor has a different method for this, but most, if not all, will provide you with premade forms that you can customize for your product or service.

(Note: if you use PayPal, and don't know where to start, see my tutorial How to Put an Order Form or Buy Now Button on Your Website Using PayPal for a step-by-step guide.)

Trying It Out

Whichever you choose, if you are selling things on the Internet, you really have not much choice but to accept credit cards. You probably don't know what you missed until you try it out.

All the best for your business!

How To Accepting Credit Cards on Your Website
by Christopher Heng, thesitewizard.com

How to Invite others for Google Wave

While I was discussing with friends, realize many people who have Wave account are still not aware of how to send Wave invitation.
This is a simple screenshot and guide which will help you to Invite others on Google wave.

Once you sign up for Google wave, under Inbox you will see, Invite others to Google Wave. This article takes a look at augmented reality, its current uses, and its future potential. Then you'll dig in and see how to apply this exciting technology using Adobe Flash CS4 Professional, Adobe Flash Player 10, and a webcam.

While mainstream audiences are now becoming aware of AR, it is not new. Its background is intertwined with decades of computer science development. Virtual reality (VR), AR's more familiar counterpart, is the replacement of the user's physical reality (particularly that which is experienced through sight and hearing) with a computer-generated reality. The idea of a virtual experience is exciting—creating entertaining and educational sensory encounters that do not exist in our everyday lives.

From a consumer standpoint, it seems that AR advances have come out of nowhere to surpass VR advances. The acceleration in AR technology is due to two major factors: First, users are still experiencing reality, so believability is easier to achieve. Adding simple graphics (such as text or simple shapes) and color effects (such as night vision or thermal vision) to reality creates a better user experience. The user is still seeing a mostly familiar world. Second, this more subtle use of computer graphics is less expensive with today's technology, making it more feasible than VR.

install Windows XP on my Mac using Boot Camp

There's been a lot written about Apple's dramatic release of Boot Camp, a free download that lets you repartition your Intel-based Mac's drive and install Windows XP as an alternative operating system, but even the magazine coverage I've seen doesn't give you screen-by-screen details. So let's see what we can do about that!

Your first step is to make sure you have an Intel-based Mac: any G4 or G5 Mac will not install Boot Camp and you won't be able to dual boot into Windows XP. You can still run an emulator like Microsoft Virtual PC, but it's an inferior solution and my own experience with VPC has been that it's glacial and useless for all but the most simplistic of Windows applications. You'll also need to be able to burn a CD during the process: make sure you have a blank, burnable CD disk on hand.

Now, download Boot Camp from the Apple site and double click on the ".dmg" disk image that's dropped onto your desktop. Here's what you'll see:

Your first step, as highlighted in the "Read Before You Install" document, is to print a copy of the Boot Camp Beta Installation & Setup Guide. Trust me, you'll want it!

Double-click on the "BootCampAssistant.pkg" icon and you'll be able to install the Boot Camp assistant:

As with all Mac software installs, this will require you to type in your administrative password. It's probably the same as your default account password:

A few seconds of activity later, you'll have the software successfully copied onto your computer and can quit this first installer.

Now your first challenge: finding the new installation assistant! It turns out that the program is installed on your computer in Applications --> Utilities --> Boot Camp Assistant. Launch it and it's quite possible you'll see the same message I did:

No huge problem. Quit by clicking the "Quit" button, then go to Apple's Support Downloads and check their Available Firmware Updates list to click directly to the firmware update for your own Intel system. For my Mini, I simply go back to the downloads page and scan down for the name of my system.

Once the correct firmware update is installed, you need to reboot, but not in the usual fashion. Instead, press and hold the power button on the Mini itself -- it takes about ten seconds -- until the power indicator light flashes repeatedly to begin the update. Your system will boot and you'll see the Apple icon and a progress bar:

That will advance, it took me about 90 seconds total, and you'll reboot again, ready to go!

Finally, we're ready to actually start working with Boot Camp itself. The first step is to read all of Apple's warnings:

Okay, now let's proceed. First choice: do we want to burn a Macintosh Drivers CD, which contains important device drivers for Windows XP so it can access the various hardware parts of the Mac, or do we already have one. I don't already have one, so I'll choose the default of "Burn a Macintosh Drivers CD now":

I slip in the blank disk and the system tells me it's "ready to burn". Click "Burn" and it'll do everything necessary to create the Windows XP drivers CD. This took a few minutes on my Mini, but it wasn't terribly long.

Next step is much more exciting: it's time to partition the hard disk!

Partitioning is a geeky buzzword for something that will actually make a lot of sense to you, believe it or not. The idea is that if you have a large hard disk, why not configure it to act like two small hard disks? Or three? In this way, smart system administrators can isolate accounts, minimize out-of-disk-space errors and disruptions, and so on. With Apple Boot Camp, we'll want to partition the default disk to allow us to have one "disk" that represents the Windows XP world, and another "disk" that represents Mac OS X.

By default, Boot Camp offers up a pretty tiny partition for Windows, as you can see:

I'd recommend that you make it bigger if you're actually going to use Windows for anything important; Microsoft recommends 10GB as the smallest reasonable and functional partition, for example. If you're just playing, however, 5GB will probably work fine (until your first big game install). I'll make mine 8GB to be somewhere in the middle.

Change the partition sizes by clicking and dragging on the vertical bar between the two areas until you have the size or sizes you desire. With my Mini configuration, it left me with 66GB for Mac OS X, of which 20GB is free, and 8GB for Windows XP.

Once the partitions are set up as you desire, click on "Partition" and keep your fingers crossed (there is a slight chance it'll actually mangle everything on the disk. Not likely, but I would definitely recommend you do one good, clean backup before you start experimenting with Boot Camp).

The disk partition is what we Windows folk call non-destructive or dynamic, which means that you don't have to reformat and then reinstall everything on both "sides" of the partition. That's a very, very good thing. :-)

Once the partitioning is done, you're ready to install Windows itself:

Fortunately, I have a pristine new copy of Microsoft Windows XP Pro with SP2 included for PCs without Windows (who would have thought I'd think of my Mac as a PC without Windows?) and that's what I'll use. My thanks to Microsoft for sending it along...

Insert the WinXP installation DVD, wait for it to be recognized by Mac OS X (it'll show up on your desktop with a cheery name like "VRMFPP_EN"), click on "Start Installation" and kiss Mac OS X goodbye.

After a bit, you'll see the unfamiliar blue screen of a Windows installation:

Press ENTER or Return on the keyboard to continue, agree to the Microsoft warnings and legal restrictions page, and you'll finally get to the "choose partition" list:

Take your time here to ensure that you pick the correct partition! You want to use Partition C: which should match the size you just set too: notice on my screen it's 8407MB, which is about 8GB, as expected. Move the highlight bar down to the correct partition and press Enter to actually install WinXP.

Now you need to pick a partition formatting option. The two main choices are NTFS or FAT. NTFS is more modern and supports very large partitions, but can't interoperate with Mac OS X. FAT, on the other hand, can't support partitions larger than 32GB, but is compatible with the Mac. You'll see why that's important later. For now, select FAT and do a full, not a quick, format:

Now some time will pass while the partition is formatted using the Windows FAT32 format. It took my system about five minutes to fill in the progress bar:

I won't document every single step involved in installing Windows XP as it's pretty straightforward. Just make sure you have your product key available for the verification step of the process. It's in the package within the Microsoft Windows XP disk, and it's really a good idea to use a new version of the OS rather than the same key you've used with other PCs in your office or home. Worst case, you can skip the verification step and have 30 days of "trial period" before you have to deal with finding a valid key to enter for verification purposes.

Once you've finished the full Windows XP install, which can take rather quite a while, your system will reboot and you'll want to eject the WinXP install disk and slip in the Mac drivers CD you burned earlier in the process.

With Windows, this is done by going to My Computer and right-clicking on the optical drive D: then selecting Eject. Slip in the Mac disk and everything should just automatically launch and start up. If not, look for and double click on the file Install Macintosh Drivers for Win XP.exe. Here's what you'll see:

I admit, it's kind of weird to see a Mac installation program running within Windows XP on a Mac computer, but it's a brave new world out there.

Probably, during the installation process, you'll learn that various components of your Intel-based Macintosh haven't passed the Microsoft Windows compatibility test:

Apple assures us that it's safe to continue anyway, so I did. Three times!

Then you get to go through a few waves of "new hardware found", and in all cases you can simply accept all the default settings for each wizard, as those guys in Redmond call 'em, and proceed. Finally, you'll get to the last configuration screen:

Click "reboot now" and if the hardware compatibility Gods are smiling upon you, the Mac will reboot right into Windows and you'll be the proud owner of a Macintosh that can run Windows natively, astonishingly enough.

One last tip: to select which OS you want to run, hold down the OPTION key when you start up the Mac and you'll be able to see both Mac OS X and Windows XP:

Use the arrow keys to move to the choice you desire, then press Enter or RETURN to select it and zoom into that mode.

When you do boot into Mac OS X, you'll notice that there's a new hard disk on your desktop too, called "NO NAME". Click on the name, count to five, and click again, then type "Windows XP" and you'll forevermore realize what it is. And yes, you can navigate through it and find your data files from when you're running Windows, but I'll talk about that in another article!

It's a long, tricky process, but I hope this explains exactly how to install and get running with Apple Boot Camp. Also, don't miss my tutorial on how to install Parallels to run Windows XP within Mac OS X, rather than having to reboot each time you want to switch systems.

Vocaloid Hatsune Miku, the worlds virtual diva

On August 31, 2007, a cute pop virtual idol named ‘Hatsune Miku’ was created from Crypton Future Media’s voice synthesis software DTM (Desktop Music).

Yamaha produced a speech synthesis system called VOCALOID2, which enables a PC user to create their own song by inputting various options like lyrics. Melody tunes and background music are also used to create your very own song. Also, to give the voice a physical entity from the perspective of its virtual reality concept, a female virtual idol was created in the form of ‘Hatsune Miku’.

The product received the Excellence Award at the 13th Digital Contents of the Year/AMD Awards on March 2008. It also received a ‘Topic Award’ from MM Research Institute Awards 2008 in the month of June. On August, it was awarded the 39th “Nebula Prize” in the Open Category, at the 47th Japan SF Convention. On January 2009, the software won the top award at the BCN Awards 2009, up against nominations from many sound-related software from the same category2 years after its debut, Miku has taken form from publications, CDs and games, including collaborations with racing teams etc, with the activity of Hatsune Miku far exceeding the boundaries that the original music software has set.

With various creators breathing life into this “Virtual Idol” concept, Hatsune Miku has continued to increase in popularity, and at Summer 2009, Hatsune Miku makes its screen debut performing at Animelo Summer Live 2009.

To commemorate Hatsune Miku’s 2nd birthday, a “Hatsune Miku” live event was planned on 31st August 2009 for the very first time, titled “Hatsune Miku 2nd Anniversary”, with the live venue filled, and snippets of the live streamed onto the Internet.

Use iTunes to Crop and Split Files

If you have an audio file that you would like to crop -- that is, remove some of the audio, like cropping a photo -- you can use iTunes to perform the operation. Cropping is not the most intuitive operation, but it is simple to use. This is handy when you want to remove extraneous sound at the beginning and end of an audio file. Cropping is also useful for isolating a small snippet of sound from a file.

I found this article from http://www.mactipsandtricks.com using Tiger, but I will try using leopard.

Using a similar set of operations, you can also separate a lengthy file into smaller chunks, each of which is a new audio file. This is great when you have extremely long audio files that you would like to split. This may happen, for example, when you record an LP record. It is easier to simply record an entire side of an album and then chop it up in iTunes later, rather than start and stop the recording process for each song on the album.

Click the iTunes icon in the Dock.

Click a playlist name.

In the playlist, click a song from which you would like to copy a segment.

Listen to the song and locate the exact times of the clip segment you would like to copy.

Note: To locate where you would like the clip to start, move the playback head in the display to the desired point. Write down that time. Then move the playback head to determine the end time of the segment.

Press Command-I.
The Info window opens.

Click Options.

Click Start Time and type the beginning time of the segment to copy.

Click Stop Time and type the ending time of the segment to copy.

Click OK..

Press Command-, (comma).

The iTunes Preferences dialog appears.

Click Importing.

Click the format of the new clip; for example, select AIFF Encoder.

Click OK to apply the settings and dismiss the Preferences dialog.

Click Advanced.

Click Convert Selection to AIFF.

iTunes converts the segment that you defined into a new track.

iTunes plays a "ding" sound when the conversion is complete.

TIPS

Did You Know?
When you extract a segment from an audio file in iTunes, iTunes gives the copy the same name as the original. Locate and rename the file as soon as you have finished creating it to ensure you do not delete the wrong file. If you are not sure which file is which, look at the time column of both tracks -- the smaller one is the copy.

         Apply It!
After you complete the first conversion, you can continue separating audio segments from the file in a similar fashion. Select the start and end points as before, and perform a new conversion for each segment that you would like to extract. Do not forget to rename the new file each time.

BlackBerry Media Sync – Tuned Up

Your Music on Your BlackBerry Smartphone. Why I choose mac than windows ?

Doesn't get PC viruses.

Designed with security in mind, Mac OS X isn’t plagued by constant attacks from PC viruses and malware. Likewise, it won’t slow you down with constant security alerts and sweeps. Every Mac is secure right out of the box, so you can safely go about your work — or play — without interruption.

High performance.

With the latest Intel processors and other engineering leaps, a new Mac does all the things that only a Mac can do — at an astonishing speed.

Always up to date.

A Mac regularly checks for updates to Mac OS X and any included Apple software and automatically downloads them. So really, a Mac gets better with age.

Instantly wireless.

A Mac makes wireless easy. Networks automatically appear, and you can get on the Internet with a few clicks.

Then, How to get your Mac and free iPod touch.

1. Instead of dealing with a GUI one deals with the Apache configuration files directly. While it’s nice to be able to customize XAMPs Apache installation getting the configuration right can take some time. If your really uncomfortable meddling with Apache configuration files you should consider just purchasing a licensed version of MAMP which does most of the stuff through a graphical interface. Of course once you go into production you’ll probably going to have to deal with Apache’s httpd.conf file anyway so you might as well front load the pain now and be better prepared when things actually do go into production.

So without further ado I now present the first post on the new acwolf blog: how to configure XAMP virtual hosts on a mac.

Step One, Download and configure XAMPP

First download XAMPP for mac.

Once you have XAMPP running on you mac you’re ready to begin configuring virtual hosts. Using Mac Finder go to Applications > xampp > etc and open the httpd.conf file. Near the bottom of the file look for the following lines:

# Virtual hosts
#Include /Applications/xampp/etc/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf

The pound symbol (#) denotes a comment. Since we want to setup virtual hosts go ahead and uncomment the second line by removing the pound symbol like so

# Virtual hosts
Include /Applications/xampp/etc/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf

With the above line uncommented Apache will now look to the httpd-vhosts.conf file for instructions on how to configure virtual hosts. Go to Applications > xampp > etc > extra and open httpd-vhosts.conf to begin configuring virtual hosts for XAMP. An imported (and practically undocumented) fist step is to include localhost has the default named virtual host. Do this by adding the following to the httpd-vhosts.conf:

<virtualhost>
ServerName localhost
DocumentRoot “/Applications/xampp/htdocs”
<directory>
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes execCGI
AllowOverride None
Order Allow,Deny
Allow From All
</directory>
</virtualhost>

With that in place you are now ready to add your other virtual hosts, in my case I’m developing a Zend application called zendapplication. It’s located in a folder called myZendApps in the User > Documents folder.

<virtualhost>
ServerName zendapplication.dev
ServerAlias wwww.zendapplication.dev
DocumentRoot “/Users/aaronwolf/Documents/myZendApps/zendapplication/public”
<directory>
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes ExecCGI
AllowOverride All
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</directory>
ErrorLog “logs/zendapplication-error_log”
CustomLog “logs/zendapplication-access_log” common
</virtualhost>

For all the details and options involved with setting up a virtual host refer to the apache documentation. The two critical configuration options here are ServerName and Document root. ServerName denotes what domain this particular virtual hosts responds to. DocumentRoot tells Apache where the files associated with this particular domain live. Since Zend Framework applications (like Rails applications) only make the public directory accessible to the web I have the document root pointing to the public directory of my Zend application.

So far we,

Created a localhost vertual host pointing to XAMPs default root folder (/Applications/xampp/htdocs).

Created a virtual host for a zend application located in Users > aaronwolf >Documents > myZendApps > zendapplication >public.

Assinded a server name (the local domain name) of our choosing to the new virtual host.

Note: I used the .dev extension for my server name. It’s best not to use .com or .net domain names when configuring local applications, you’ll see why once you…

Configure the hosts file

The next step is to configure your host file. A hosts file works like a DNS server associating domain names with IP address except domain names configured in your local hosts file only effect your local development machine.

In the example presented here we have configured Apache to respond to requests for zendapplication.dev now we want to be able to type zendapplication.dev in to a browser and play with our application. Since zendapplication.dev only exists on our local development machine (not the internet) we’ll need to configure our local host file to send requests for the zendapplication.dev domain to our development computers IP address (127.0.0.1) to be handled by Apache server. Sounds complicated but to get it done is very simple.

Fist you’ll need to open your hosts file. On a mac you can find the hosts file in the /etc directory (you’ll need root permission to edit the file).

Open a concole window and type:

sudo nano /etc/hosts

Add the following line to the bottom of your hosts file (be sure to sperate the IP number and the domain name with a tab).

127.0.0.1 zendapplication.dev

Now when you type zendapplication.dev in to the address bar of you local browser you’ll should see…

You don’t have permission to access /xampp/index.php on this server.

Nice! Turns out there’s one more bit of configuration to be done (at least if you’re storing you applications under the User > Documents directory on a mac like I am). You’ll need to tell the Apache process to run with your user permissions (something that should never be done on a production machine). Back to Application > xamp > etc, open httpd.conf and look for the following block:

<ifmodule>
#
# If you wish httpd to run as a different user or group, you must run
# httpd as root initially and it will switch.
#
# User/Group: The name (or #number) of the user/group to run httpd as.
# It is usually good practice to create a dedicated user and group for
# running httpd, as with most system services.
#
User nobody
Group admin
</ifmodule>

Notice by default Apache is set up to run as user “nobody” which lacks permissions to access files in your Documents directory. To fix this simply change nobody to the username you uses when logging into your machine, so in my case…

User lio
Group admin

That should about do it. Type zendapplication.dev into your browser and go to town.

If you notice your application’s indexpage redirects to /xampp/index.php you’ll just clear your browsers chache.

Hopfully that will save someone a few hours…

The does everything you want MacBook. Apple engineers removed brominated flame retardants (BFRs) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) from circuit boards, internal cables, connectors, insulators, adhesives, and more in Mac mini. And they’ve done the same for the aluminum-based MacBook family; the new iMac and Mac Pro; and the Apple LED Cinema Display, iPod touch, iPod classic, iPod nano, and iPhone 3G.

Highly recyclable.

Mac mini uses a combination of highly recyclable aluminum and polycarbonate to create its incredibly compact enclosure. Just 6.5 by 6.5 by 2 inches, Mac mini is a fraction the size of a typical desktop tower, making it one of the most material-efficient deskop computers available.

Reduced packaging.

The new Mac mini retail packaging is 31 percent smaller than the previous generation. In addition, the volume of the shipping box has decreased by 60 percent compared with the first-generation Mac mini. And smaller boxes are better for the planet. Because smaller boxes mean we can fit more boxes in each shipping container — up to twice as many. Which means more products will fit on each boat and plane. Which means fewer boats and planes are used, resulting in fewer CO2 emissions. It's just one seemingly minor change. But it has a major positive impact on our environment.

More energy efficient.

The energy-efficient hardware components in the new Mac mini work hand in hand with Mac OS X to create a system that can dynamically adjust power consumption to reduce the energy used overall. The new Mac mini uses an advanced power management system leveraged from technology that makes the most of battery life in Apple’s MacBook family. This allows Mac mini to use dramatically less electricity — up to 45 percent less power at idle than its predecessor. And it makes Mac mini the most energy-efficient desktop computer.*

Mac mini meets the stringent low power requirements set by the EPA, giving it ENERGY STAR certification. In addition, Mac mini meets the latest efficiency requirements of ENERGY STAR Version 5.0 Specification for Computers before its July 2009 effective date. ENERGY STAR 5.0 sets significantly higher efficiency limits for power supplies and aggressive limits for the computer’s typical annual power consumption.

Rated EPEAT Gold.

Mac mini has earned the highest rating of EPEAT Gold. The Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool, or EPEAT, evaluates the environmental impact of a product based on how recyclable it is, how much energy it uses, and how it’s designed and manufactured.

A commitment that starts with products.

When it comes to being environmentally friendly, Apple approaches the challenge differently — through products like the new Mac mini. Unlike other companies, Apple controls every aspect of the production of its computers. So Apple designers and engineers can minimize their carbon footprint in ways others can’t. They design them with fewer parts. They build them using recyclable materials. They even create software that makes them more energy efficient. The result is a new standard for green design.

Jual Aplikasi Toko Online

Aplikasi Toko Online

Tag : Aplikasi Toko Online | Shopping Cart Online

Toradora! anime download

Watch Toradora! online, download video and OST

Visit this site Toradora! anime episode

Download Youtube Video

Try download youtube video Easy with http://youtube.tora-dora.org

Download Toradora! From within Gmail, you can have an actual conversation with someone (seriously, out loud), or even chat face to face over video.

Here's what you'll need to get started:

Download the Gmail voice and video chat plug-in, quit all open browser windows, and install the plug-in.

Sign in to Gmail.

In the Chat section of your Gmail, select the contact you want to call. If they have a camera icon next to their name, you can make a voice or video call to them; just click Video & more.

If your friend doesn't have a camera next to their name in your chat list, you can invite them to download the Gmail voice and video chat plug-in from the Video & more menu in a chat window. Even if your friend doesn't have a video camera, you can still make a voice call or a 1-way video call.

1st anniversary emoticon.itonlinestore.net

asal pengunjung emoticon.itonlinestore.net

Page view untuk emoticon.itonlinestore.net

Update Terbaru Emoticon, tentunya Fress Emoticon.

<td style="font-size: 12px;
